Meet Rhonda Savain

By CanvasRebel

We were lucky to catch up with Rhonda Savain recently and have shared our conversation below.

Rhonda, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear your thoughts about making remote work effective.

Our business used to be based in a building where we would have approximately 80-90 nursing students attend classes each month. However, the COVID-19 pandemic made having many students in one classroom challenging. To adapt, we started conducting live online classes. Our online classes are engaging and interactive, featuring case studies, fun games, and break-out rooms.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Savain and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhonda, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
Parenting is one of the most challenging and rewarding tasks. The most important thing I have done to impact my children was to instill confidence, morals, self-esteem and independence. Those four characteristics will be the legacy my children can embrace and pass on to their offspring. First, my eldest child is a 28- year old male with Autism.

Rhonda, appreciate you joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

My parents have been so instrumental in my development and success. As an educator I love mnemonics. As a result I will say my parents have helped me with “FIDE.” Focus, Independence, Discipline, and Education.

Inspiring Conversations with Rhonda Savain

By VoyageATL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda Savain.

Hi Rhonda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Determination! From the age of five, I always remember wanting to be a nurse. As I continued to mature the vision and passion of wanting to help others never left me. I attended a specialized Licensed Practical Nursing Program in HS and started my nursing career at the ripe age of 17. During this time I also enlisted in the United State Navy Reserves as A Hospital Corpsman. A drive to over – achieve has always been deeply rooted within.

Meet Rhonda Savain | Registered Nurse, Certified Teacher, Professional Life Coach, Breast Cancer Survivor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Savain and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhonda, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Freedom! Following has never come easy for me. From the age of 6 I always remember trying to be first in everything I did. Even 1st on the line when we played outside for recess in Catholic School and we had to “line up.” As a result, it was difficult to work at a “job” where you had to be told what to do, and what days you could be off. I remember when I first became a Registered Nurse at the age of 21 my supervisor would ask “what holiday do you want to work Christmas or New Year?” I would respond New Year but in my head I would say “none.” In order to make that a reality I knew I had to be self employed.
